May Day is the start of the Morris Dancing year. Sadly, no dancing nor pilgrimage possible in the present lockdown. It will be lifted sooner or later. Perhaps then, pilgrims on the Walsingham Way and morrismen will meet once more at Elsing; where there is refreshment to be had in St. Mary’s Church and the Mermaid.
